You’ve come to the right website if what you’re looking for is a personalized tour just for you and your travelling companions.

If you don’t have enough time to do a driving tour around Spain, I would definitely recommend that you do at least 1 day trip so that you can see more than just a big Spanish city. I offer some wonderful day trips to places outside of Madrid and Barcelona.

Madrid: There are many options for day trips outside of the capital city of Spain.

My first recommendation would be TOLEDO. Located only at an hour’s drive from Madrid, it is well worth the visit. It’s a beautiful medieval city that was the capital of Spain until 1560. Walking through the cobblestone streets of Toledo inside the fortress walls makes you feel like you have stepped back into the Middle Ages.If you have an extra day, you should definitely not miss this quaint little city.

My next recommendation would be SEGOVIA. Located only an hour and a half by car from Madrid it is an easy day trip from the capital city.Without a doubt, the most famous monument in Segovia is the incredible Roman aqueduct which dominates the city and is still completely intact. Another beautiful sight to see is the Alcázar (the Arabic fortress) which sits on the highest part of the city on top of a cliff.

The next recommendation that I would make is to visit EL ESCORIAL. This impressive 16th century gigantic monastery is only about 50 minutes from Madrid by car and is a beautiful sight to see.

Barcelona:There are also some options for day trips outside of Barcelona.

One day trip that I offer is to SITGES. Sitges is a lovely little beach town just 22 miles south of Barcelona. If you want to get out of the big city and the weather is nice, this would be an ideal location to spend the day.

Another recommendation would be TOSSA DE MAR which is located about 60 miles to the north of Barcelona. This is a pretty town with cobblestone streets and a magnificent castle. Situated right on the coast, it is another wonderful village in which to spend a day.

One more day trip that I would recommend is to MONTSERRAT, which is about 30 miles from Barcelona. Here you will see a spectacular monastery in a beautiful mountainous setting. The views are breathtaking.

Any other day trips that you are interested in doing anywhere in Spain can easily be arranged.

Just let me know where you’d like to go and I’ll take you there.
